When I walked in to the room there were 3 other persons there in comfortable states of rest, and tranquil music played in the background. It set me at ease. Jessica told me I would sleep very well that night, and I was looing forward to that prognostication since I had over the past 2 years experienced interrupted sleep. My main reason for coming in was that I was ready to try some alternative methods to cure my ear ringing because the traditional doctors could not cure (it). After the first session, I noticed that the ear ringing had diminished considerably. After three sessions, my ear ringing was completely gone. "I first came to know The Turning Point while driving up the road and seeing the colorful sign on the side of the road. What further enticed me were the words "Walk Ins Welcome" and "Fee: $15 - $35". This sounded incredibly good and I decided to check it out. Inside I met a very kind and warm young lady, Jessica Feltz (Wolfson), who explained everything about acupuncture and how her practice works. I decided to try a session spontaneously, and was impressed at how quickly Jessica took on my case.
"For more than two years I have been dealing with chronic lower back pain. I have tried every treatment from modern medicine besides surgery. Including physical therapy, painful spinal injections, steroids, massage therapy, and chiropractic. Mostly with little, or no relief except the painkillers that only offer a temporary fix, along with addiction, and a lot of side effects. I cannot even get accurately diagnosed as to the exact cause of my pain, because I cannot recieve an MRI due to a piece of metal in my eye. Since finding The Turning Point I have been feeling much better. In fact I would say the name is just what Jessica has given me. I know I may always have to deal with this condition, but before now I thought I would never get relief without either risking surgery, or continuing to take drugs. "After two years or more of chronic insomnia and doubling the dose of sleep medication my doctor prescribed for me, I was desperate for a solution. The sleep deprivation was having ill affects throughout my health and life. Stress, anxiety, high
blood pressure, etc. arose when my sleep issue was at its worst. I hated the thought of what the prescribed medication was doing to my liver and kidneys. I also feared what other health issues would arise if my body never had a chance to heal or rejuvenate due to the lack of sleep. So approximately two months ago I came to the Turning Point and was warmly welcomed by Jessica. Her sincere, professional mannerisms and confidence really gave me hope. "I discovered The Turning Point when I was looking for some relief for a skin disease my doctor diagnosed me with. The disease caused me to have itchy, red skin eruptions all over my trunk that were both obnoxious and unsightly. To make matters worse, it was the middle of summer and I was told I’d have to stay out of the sun completely for the rest of the season. My doctor was completely unhelpful. He told me that it would clear up on its own in between 6 weeks to 6 months and that there was nothing I could do about it. Realizing that I wouldn’t get any help from Western Medicine for my condition, I turned to acupuncture. After my second treatment at The Turning Point I began to see a difference in my condition. The rash was getting lighter and less itchy and I was grateful for the relief. After one week of treatment my rash was almost completely healed. My only regret was that I didn’t come see Jessica sooner. My rash is now completely healed (after five treatments in two weeks' time) and I’m enjoying the rest of my summer in the sun.
